Re-mastered after lockdown after reading the book The Choice written by Holocaust Survivor Edith Eger, I was inspired to go to a public park overlooking the pond and sing to passersby in an initiative to connect and sing out words of comfort and hope to reach the hearts of those who heard me.
10 years earlier I had written the song with Kevin Mark Trail and had filmed the music video for it, the story of which was of me standing ini a park in the same area dreaming of bringing people together. The video shows more and more people joining me and a festival grows organically.
Its almost as if this was a vision of what really happened 10 years later in lockdown where as I sang out words of connecton and hope, passersby heard be across the pond and began to gather under the trees. After singing htere for 3 months it organically grew into a small festival which we called The Fairytale.
I decided to rerelease this too remind us that Survival is a CHOICE that we can choose to be free and to love.
